8/ A Recurring Dream From Years Ago


Taking a break from my list to mention a recurring dream I used to have. My house was an old, unattractive urban brick box of a building, several stories high. Inside, it was spacious and welcoming, with warm woods, several large bedroom suites, and a moat around the kitchen. I had this dream many times, but never figured it out.

    I don't like anyone besides Tim in the kitchen while I'm cooking. I'm not good at multitasking. Tim's the same way. So in a sense, during a dinner party, there's a moat around the kitchen.

      I had not thought of it that way, IB. I also hate help in the kitchen. Maybe a moat (with piranha) would come in handy.
