18/ Insect/Arachnid Care
This time of year before I tend to the cats in the morning I have to tend to smaller creatures: Save fireflies that got into the house and need to get out. Remove various moths from various walls and windows. Check sinks for spiders large and small. Check cat beds for ticks (none so far—yay!), but do not save.

Ticks and mosquitoes do not get saved. I see it as the opposite of that Jewish mantra about saving one life saves a generation. PErhaps by eliminating one tick I can eliminate a generation...

DeleteOmg yes. We had fleas in the house the summer I had my appendix out. I slept for four days and got bit to hell.
