4/ My Life in Alcohol Consumption, Part IV
Forties: I gave myself a party for my 40th birthday. I sent suggestions for what people should say as they arrived. A favorite was, "My god, I thought you were 22!" Lots of singing at the piano, lots of fun. I forget the name of the wine I served, but it came in a jug.
