I don't tend to believe in "this kind of stuff," but I like the idea of having such strong emotional connections that this kind of thing would happen. So, I want to believe.

ReplyDeleteI would never lie about that. The first time, our Lab-mix Holly had a seizure in PA while I was in FL. I was dreaming about something else when she showed up quite unexpectedly. I was surprised, and she looked confused. I remember saying, "Holly! What are you doing here?" Then I bent down to touch her, and realized she had come to say goodbye. In the morning I called home and learned she had died. Caroline, our Collie-Shepherd with three legs (thanks to a hunter), is the dog who spoke the quote I posted.
