The warmers on my socks and in my pocket save me from . . . what? Amputation? Probably not, although gangrene is a possibility with Raynaud's Syndrome, which I have. Six months of the year I wear adhesive warmers on my socks, rescuing my feet. The pain in my hands isn't nearly as bad since I started keeping a body warmer in my pocket.

ReplyDeleteI have Raynaud's Syndrome as well, but I don't have too many issues with it any more. I used to get sores on my fingers but I avoid being outside in very cold weather these days.
ReplyDeleteI've heard of people having Raynaud's remissions, but so far it hasn't happened to me. Most of the sores on my hands happen indoors. I dread handling cold vegetables, for example. I was in my 30's when it started in my feet.
