I don't take antibiotics for chronic Lyme these days; instead, I do what I can to strengthen my immune system. My #1 practice is to juice vegetables. I've had several juicers over the years, but my latest—a masticating Omega J8004—is the best. I juice faithfully. It makes an enormous difference in how I feel.

I really need to buy a juicer. I don't eat enough vegetables and I really need to eat more.
ReplyDeleteJuicing will do that for you. Even though I'm a salad freak and am fond of most vegetables, there's no other way I could consume the sheer numbers of them.
DeleteI've had centrifugal juicers, but the masticating type was a revelation to me. The juice tastes richer, and it keeps two or three days in the fridge so I don't have to juice every day.
I'm also attracted to juices. I love vegetables, and eat quite a lot, but need more variety.
ReplyDeleteHow is it to clean?
ReplyDeleteEasy. A lot easier than my centrifugal juicers. Dishwasher-safe parts, but I usually do them by hand.
