1/ My Life in Alcohol Consumption, Part I
Early-to-mid teens: "Susan can get drunk on Coke (Coca-Cola)." That is, I didn't need alcohol to sing, dance, and all the rest. But on my 18th birthday I felt compelled to drink for real. Called my boyfriend and said I needed help. He found me on a bar stool, looking okay. But I wasn't.
