Second on the list was my dream to be a better housekeeper. I
find it interesting that I wrote these reasons underneath: "Joe will be
proud of me. Joe would enjoy his home." Only under that did I mention my
own feelings. Hmm . . . I guess it's not at all surprising that I failed at
this one. I’m still a random housekeeper.

I can certainly empathize with you here. When I do housekeeping it is rarely for me. Luckily my husband likes to clean.

ReplyDeleteOh dear. I'm saying that only in response to your reasons, not to your randomness. I'm always highly suspicious of people who are NOT random housekeepers, so I don't think you should say you failed. You just had other priorities.
