Ye gods . . . I'm nine days behind.
An epigram is a short, witty poem that is easy to remember and written to be remembered. They have no particular form except their brevity. I've been known to end a poetry reading with one of these. ("Leave 'em laughing.")

I'm so far behind in writing and reading! This is perfect. Reminds me of the family who came to our community yard sale, on a lovely 75 degree day, wearing jeans, leather jackets, boots, and even hats. "It is so cold here," said the mother. A guess, based on accent and licence plate, they were from NYC and probably Puerto Rico initially, but seriously, it was 75!
